Sold AXL @ $1.32 (4.8% Gain)

I didn’t hold onto AXL very long. I started getting nervous so I decided to try for a quick 5% gain. That worked. Almost as soon as I set my limit sell at $1.32 my shares were sold even though the price was only around $1.25 when I set it.
Of course I may be kicking myself later today (or tomorrow) if this thing really takes off (and I think there’s a good chance it will.)

LEA has already moved up a lot since it first appeared on my screener, in fact I could have made a killing with it. I also could have done much better with AXL if I would have moved in faster. I really need to start trading a little earlier to get the best entry point. Yes I didn’t wake up until 10AM this morning.
CHB is now on the radar at 60 cents. The volume is a bit low and I’m not convinced by the chart.. But it does look like the type of stock that could pop up with a huge gain.

I also wanted to mention that a stock that popped up for me yesterday (TXCO) that I came very close to buying at 48 cents (but I got into a thing where I was limit buying at 1 cent below where it was… I should have just bit the bullet and bought it… that was a lesson.) Anyway it’s now at 64 cents which would be a 33% gain from my entry point. I keep just missing out on these huge plays. It’s a matter of not hesitating so much and letting it ride a bit. Next time…

Commence kicking! AXL has started some real popping action now, I definitely could have got a lot more than 4.8%
TXCO is at 74 cents now btw. Damn I really need to follow my screener closer and I need to stick it out for the big pop that almost every stock my screener picks seems to have.
I’m kicking myself over missed opportunities but also excited about how successful my picks have been time after time.

LEA closed at $1.92 today… I could have doubled my money with that one. *shakes head* I just keep on missing the good ones my screener is serving up to me on a silver platter.

AXL is now at $3.75 as I type this - it is currently up 147% today.
It’s up 198% from my initial buy point ($1.26) … in other words I could have TRIPLED MY MONEY *this week* if I would have simply held onto this stock.
I really didn’t think I would be kicking myself quite this hard.
I have to realize my screener is a forward looking leading indicator. I almost get into these stocks too early because it’s hard to stick with them until the real pop.

I should probably stop torturing myself but I can’t help but notice AXL is now at $4.25!!! Or +237% from my buy point on Wednesday. I could have more than tripled my money in just two days.
