FRP
By admin on Mar 30, 2009 in stock trading
I’m not going to be buying FRP tomorrow (because I don’t yet have my funds in my new trading account) but my newest stock screen (an adjustment of this one) says that I should.
What’s the adjustment? I’ve added a volume screener because I don’t like working with stocks with extremely low volume and the big gaining stocks that more than doubled my money this month all had at least a million shares traded per day. All of the stocks selected in my last screen would not have been included using my new screening system.
Obviously I’ll be watching FRP over the next couple of weeks to see how it does.

As of 10:35AM: Up 23% hm… not bad, eh?

12PM: Up 35%.
Right now I’m really wishing I had had the money in my account this morning to buy this one.
The question now is: When would I sell? When to sell is just as important as when to buy.

It’s dropped down a bit since those heights. I’d still be up overall if I was holding it now but I think I probably should have sold it already to lock in my bigger gains.
