Bought AHR @ $0.47

I just bought AHR @ $0.47 — My screener also had me looking at GMXR but I missed it when it first popped up (this morning) by the time I saw it I felt like I would have been chasing a bit although I think there’s a good shot there’s a lot more upside to GMXR.

AXL @ $1.53 & IO at $2.04 are also on the radar.

AHR looks like the type of play that has a huge potential upside so I am excited about it. That said I think it may also give me a scare before it heads up so it’s a dangerous play as well.

  1. Bad day today. I held and I’m still holding even though it closed at 42 cents (which is an 11% loss from my buy point) — I’ve been scared out too early on each of my last three buys and I’m determined to stay in for the pop this time around. Well, reasonably determined, I will have to cut loose if it drops too much more. But I really don’t think it will.

  2. I’m still holding onto it. It moved up a bit today and at one point even got up to my buy point (47 cents) but it closed at 43 cents so I’m still down. But I’m still reasonably confident it’s going to pop up relatively soon (probably this week.)

I really need to get my second account opened (with SogoTrade) because there are a lot of other potential plays available that I’d like to get into but everything I have in the market is tied up in this one right now.

  3. It closed up 14% today at 49 cents. Of course that’s still only up 4% for me but I have a very good feeling about this one now - I think it may pop up really big tomorrow.

  4. AHR was all over the place today. It opened at only 42 cents due to some weird pre-market activity and then got to a high of 57 cents. I could have sold today for a real nice gain (21%) but I didn’t. I didn’t want to sell too early again. So what happened of course? It ended up actually closing down for the day at 46 cents. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it could (and probably will) end up going quite a bit higher but I’m starting to wonder if I wouldn’t have more success if I just took these quick rides and got off instead of waiting for the big one that may never come (and which puts me at risk for big losses.)
